Toxicity and Control Efficacy of Novel 8-hydroxyquinoline Dithiocarbamates Against Phytophthora infestans
Six 8-hydroxyquinoline dithiocarbamate derivatives were designed and synthesized.Mycelial growth rate method was used to determine the toxicity of these derivatives on Phytophthora infestans.Results showed that derivatives C2,C5 and C6 had higher toxicity on P.infestans,with the EC50 val-ues of 2.97,2.40 µg·mL-1and 9.26 μg·mL-1,respectively.Then,the derivative C5 was selected for further control of late blight.Inoculation on potato leaves in vitro suggested that C5 could effectively control the infection of P.infestation.
