Study on the Coupling Relationship and Influence Factors between Agricultural Development Level and Food Security in the Great Lakes Region of Africa
Based on agricultural development level and food security, this study comprehensively uses the entropy weight method, coupling coordination model and grey correlation model to study the cou-pling relationship and influence factors between agricultural development level and food security in the Great Lakes region of Africa from 2000 to 2020.The results show that:(1)There is a significant tem-poral correlation between the level of agricultural development and the level of food security, with the level of agricultural development rising from 0.214 in 2000 to 0.304 in 2020,and the level of food secu-rity rising from 0.219 in 2000 to 0.269 in 2020;(2)The spatial-temporal coupling between the level of agricultural development and the level of food security is dominated by the time scale, with the near dislocation in 2000(0.457)developing into a barely harmonized one in 2020(0.514);(3)The evolu-tion of agricultural development level drives the evolution of food security level, with technological in-puts(0.813)having the lowest correlation with food security and land inputs(0.928)having the high-est correlation with food security in the Great Lakes region's agricultural development.
