麦芽糖溶液浸种对玉米种子萌发和幼苗生长的影响

为探究麦芽糖溶液浸种对玉米种子萌发和幼苗生长的影响,采用0.1、0.5、1.0、5.0 mmol/L和10.0 mmol/L的麦芽糖溶液浸种,测定种子萌发和幼苗生长的各项指标.结果表明,麦芽糖溶液浸种适宜浓度在0.1 mmol/L至0.5 mmol/L之间.浓度0.5 mmol/L对发芽率、峰值、平均日发芽率和萌发值有抑制作用,浓度0.1和1.0 mmol/L可以缩短萌发时间,提高发芽速度系数,对芽长和根长为促进作用.同时,与同浓度葡萄糖溶液浸种相比,低浓度麦芽糖浸种没有抑制作用,但可提高种子活力及促进幼苗生长,可一定程度上替代葡萄糖溶液浸种.
Effects of Imbibition with Maltose Solution on Seed Germination and Seedling Growth of Maize
In order to investigate the effects of imbibition with maltose solution on seed germination and seedling growth of maize,the seeds were soaked with 0.1,0.5,1.0,5.0 mmol/L,and 10.0 mmol/L maltose solution,and the indexes of seed germination and seedling growth were measured.The results showed that the optimum concentration of maltose was between 0.1 mmol/L and 0.5 mmol/L.In brief,0.5 mmol/L inhibited the germination rate,peak value,mean daily germination and germination value.Moreover,0.1 mmol/L and 1.0 mmol/L could shorten the germination time,increase coefficient of velocity of germination,and promote the bud length and root length.At the same time,compared with the seeds soaked with the same concentration of glucose,soaking with a low concentration malt-ose had no inhibition,but improved seed vitality and promoted seedling growth,indicating that maltose could replace glucose to a certain extent.
