Control of Mud Stabilized Liquid Density for Drilling and Grouting Piles under High Fill Areas near River
Complex sedimentary layers are widely distributed in the foundation soil of river channels in Guizhou region, which usually have the characteristics of high water content and low strength. The problem of hole wall instability and collapse is more prominent when constructing cast-in-place pile foundations in such soil layers.Generally speaking, the stability of the borehole wall of a bored pile is directly related to the quality of the pile.In construction, the method of controlling the mud density is generally adopted to balance the water and soil pressure in the formation and maintain the stability of the borehole wall of the bored pile.Taking the pile foundation construction of the Erbao Road Extra Large Bridge in the economic zone of Shuanglong Airport in Guizhou as an example, this paper analyzes the key points of controlling the mud density under this geological condition near the high fill of the river channel.
