Irrigation design is the foundation of agricultural water conservancy construction,which includes irrigation water intake,irrigation area,irrigation area scale,designed irrigation rate,types and proportions of crops to be planted,etc.The rationality and scientificity of irrigation planning and design directly affect the economic and social benefits of the project.Taking the irrigation design of the resettlement area in Jinggu County of Yunnan Province as an example,this paper explores the direction of irrigation planning by analyzing important factors such as crop irrigation system,water consumption,and irrigation rate.It minimizes resource waste while meeting irrigation requirements.
