Urban and rural water supply automation is an important measure to solve the safety of rural drinking water,which can effectively ensure the management decision-making ability and application service level of water supply projects.This paper summarizes the design and application of automation control in a certain urban and rural water supply project.It not only effectively compensates for the shortcomings in the construction process of water conservancy projects,but also plays an important role in achieving long-term development of water conservancy projects and improving the level of water conservancy project management.It can achieve the functional advantages of water-saving,personnel reduction,cost reduction,and efficiency enhancement in the later operation of urban and rural water supply,promote equal services for urban and rural water supply,and effectively consolidate local poverty alleviation work.
