Research on Evaluation of Water Resources Utilization in Yunnan Province Based on Water Footprint
Based on the resource ecological footprint model and the water resource ecological carrying capacity model,this study evaluates the sustainable utilization status of water resources in Yunnan Province using relevant data on water resources and socio-economic development from 2005 to 2020.The results show that among the various water use indicators in Yunnan,the proportion of production water is the highest and shows a decreasing trend year by year,while the proportion of domestic water and ecological water is relatively small and shows an increasing trend year by year.The ecological carrying capacity of water resources fluctuated significantly before 2011 and the change pattern was not obvious.After 2011,it showed a slow growth state.The ecological status of water resources is good,the water resource pressure index is low,and water resources are in a sustainable utilization state.The ecological footprint of water resources with a GDP of 10000 yuan shows a downward trend,with a rapid decline from 2005 to 2011,and a gradual decline in the following years.
