Design of Virtual Simulation System for Reservoir Based on Unity3D and 3DSMax
With the development of technology and the expansion of its application scope, digital twin technology has been widely applied in fields such as energy, manufacturing, transportation, healthcare, urban planning, and has become one of the important means of digital transformation. This article introduces the design of a reservoir virtual simulation system based on Unity3D and 3DSMAx.The system aims to provide an immersive roaming experience using virtual reality technology. The design process includes scene modeling, material processing, and implementation of interactive functions.Taking a dam in Xizang as an example, the actual dam building structure was modeled through 3DSMAx software, and a highly detailed 3D model was created and materials were added.Through accurate measurement data and reference drawings, various details of the dam were finely reproduced.By using the WorldComposer terrain modeling plugin to recreate mountains, water bodies, roads, and buildings, flying, roaming, and other functions are achieved through the Unity3D platform, allowing users to freely move and explore around the dam.Through detailed scene modeling, material processing, and interactive functions, users can freely explore the magnificent landscape and architectural structure of the dam and surrounding reservoir areas in a virtual environment, providing a new way of viewing and learning. This system has broad application prospects and can play an important role in tourism, education, and engineering fields.
