Case Analysis of Delayed Supply Claim of Sand-gravel Material
In response to the cost claim issue raised by the contractor due to the delay in material supply by the employer compared to the agreed time in the contract,this paper takes a claim for delayed supply of sand and gravel materials in a certain section of the Dianzhong Water Diversion Project in Yunnan Province as an example,and proposes a work approach of first determining the compensation unit price,then calculating the amount of sand and gravel materials that should be compensated,and finally determining the compensation cost,and calculating the claim cost step by step.It analyzes the calculation methods of three types of compensation quantities for sand and gravel materials:distinguishing the responsibility for construction period,not distinguishing the responsibility for construction period,and the contractor assuming a fixed quantity or proportion of sand and gravel material supply responsibility.From the perspective of the employer,it proposes the handling ideas and precautions for compensation matters.
