Stability Analysis and Evaluation and Risk Elimination and Reinforcement Management Practices in Reservoir Operation and Maintenance
The safe operation of reservoirs is crucial for the stability of downstream production and life.Shanchong Reservoir has been rated as a Class III dam,and there are serious risks to the dam, making it unable to fully utilize its design benefits. In response to the current situation and main problems of the project, this article proposes a strategy for risk elimination and reinforcement, including the removal and reconstruction of concrete panels at the inlet of the dam bottom culvert, optimization and reinforcement of the overflow weir body, and reconstruction of cascade water diversion. It is necessary to demolish and rebuild the inlet and outlet sections of the water conveyance bottom culvert, add displacement observation facilities and seepage pressure observation facilities to the dam,and improve the management room and surrounding environment on the right bank of the dam.By eliminating the current hidden dangers in reservoir engineering and striving to meet the safety standards of the reservoir, comprehensive benefits such as irrigation and flood control can be achieved.
