Research on Deformation Characteristics of Surrounding Rock During Construction of Diversion Tunnels
The geological conditions of the diversion tunnel of Guangdong HY Drinking Water Project are complex.After excavation,various deformation phenomena occur in the surrounding rock,such as sinking of the top arch,uplift of the bottom plate,internal displacement of the side walls,and falling of blocks.This paper analyzes the deformation characteristics of the surrounding rock during the construction of the diversion tunnel,including testing of the physical and mechanical properties of the surrounding rock,analysis of the deformation mechanism,and analysis of the influencing factors of the deformation characteristics,in order to ensure the smooth progress of the project.
