3D Solid Modeling of Mixed Flow Turbine Runner Based on PRO/E
Due to the spatial distortion of the blades of a mixed flow turbine,3D solid modeling is difficult.By combining PRO/E with AutoCAD,based on the blade plane wood model in Auto CAD,and utilizing the 3D function in PRO/E modeling software, the blade cross-sections are formed by importing point data files, and the blade solid is formed by surface solidization.By using the rotation cutting function in PRO/E to smooth the surfaces of the inlet, outlet, upper crown, and lower ring parts,a three-dimensional spatial surface of the impeller that better meets hydraulic requirements can be constructed,so that the runner entity expressed from the plan to the three-dimensional body can be accurately obtained.
