Treatment Method and Application Effect Inspection of Overflow Channel in a Hydropower Station
The water passage of a hydropower station was transformed from a diversion structure and has been in operation for 8 years. On site investigation revealed varying degrees of damage to the bottom plate and energy dissipation buildings. The tailgate of the stilling pool remains intact, and the bottom plate poured after the turning section of the tunnel body is detached and damaged. After preliminary analysis, there is a certain relationship between the water flow pattern and the degree of connection between the new and old concrete interface. Therefore,it is necessary to repair the damaged bottom plate to prevent the water flow from continuing to erode and deepen the erosion pit.According to the analysis, setting anchor bars and appropriately thickening the concrete bottom plate can meet the requirements of safe and stable operation.
