Research on Pre-emptying Scheduling Strategy for Power Generation of Cascade Hydropower Stations in the Middle Reaches of Jinsha River
In order to achieve maximum power generation during the flood season, this article analyzes the flood characteristics of the middle reaches of the Jinsha River basin and conducts research on pre emptying reservoir scheduling strategies for power generation. The results show that the main flood season in the middle reaches of Jinsha River basin generally follows a multi peak inflow process, and there may be situations where the inflow during local periods drops below the full discharge of Jinzhong cascade power stations.Based on the characteristics of floods, the flood season is mainly divided into three stages:early flood, mid flood, and late flood, and corresponding pre-emptying reservoir scheduling strategies are proposed to provide reference for scheduling operations when the water recedes to below the full flow rate during certain periods of the flood season.
