Three-Dimensional Finite Element Analysis of Inlet Lock Chamber Structure of Diversion Tunnel in a Large Hydropower Station
The inlet lock chamber structure of a large hydropower station diversion tunnel is a typical three-dimensional stress structure. The maximum water head acting on the gate during the sealing period reaches 120m,with a high hydraulic thrust. In order to ensure the safety and reliability of the intake lock chamber structure of the diversion tunnel under complex stress conditions, this paper establishes an overall finite element model of lock chamber. And referring to similar engineering calculations,it conducts three-dimensional calculation analysis on the inlet lock chamber structure of the diversion tunnel under three working conditions:completion period, operation period, and sealing period.
