Comparison of Dam Types and Evaluation of Engineering Geological Conditions for Huadihe Reservoir Dam Site
The hydrogeology of Huadi River dam site area is relatively complex,with highly weathered rock masses,karst pipelines,and fault fissures coexisting in the reservoir area.To ensure high economic benefits after the reservoir is filled with water and combined with the geological survey results of the dam site area,this paper provides a detailed analysis of the geological conditions of the dam section,dam site,and dam engineering.The optimized design of the lower dam site roller compacted concrete arch dam has good geological suitability,compact hub layout,small amount of anti-seepage engineering,and the scheme is technically feasible and economical.The detailed engineering geological survey of Huadihe Reservoir dam site area has identified key factors affecting the layout and structural stability of the project hub,providing reasonable treatment measures and geological suggestions for later design and construction.
