Analysis of Engineering Geological Conditions and Comparison of Dam Types in the Dam Site Area of Naxue Reservoir
The hydrogeological conditions in the dam site area of Naxue Reservoir are complex, and the regional structural stability is poor.Strong weathered and fractured rock masses and fault fissures coexist in the reservoir area.To ensure high economic benefits after the reservoir is filled with water and combined with the results of engineering geological survey in the dam site area, this article conducts a detailed comparison and demonstration of the dam site, dam type, and engineering geological conditions for dam construction. The optimized design of the upper dam site face rockfill dam hub can fully utilize regional water resources, and the dam type has good geological and topographical suitability. The scheme is technically feasible and economical. The detailed engineering geological survey of the dam site area of Naxue Reservoir has identified key factors such as unfavorable geological bodies and leakage stability that affect the construction of the project, providing reasonable suggestions and treatment measures for later design and construction.
