Engineering Improvement Strategies for Flood Control and Safety Management in Small Watersheds in Mountainous Areas
Guangning County has suffered multiple severe floods since the founding of the People's Republic of China,causing huge economic losses.As a key facility for residents to resist flood damage,the flood control capacity of Suijiang embankment is of great significance to the safety of life and property.Against the backdrop of the flood prevention and safety management project in the Guangning section of the Suijiang River,this paper proposes measures such as shore protection engineering,landscape greenway construction,and dredging in response to the current situation and main problems of flood disasters.Meanwhile,methods for soil and water conservation were discussed.By analyzing these strategies,the aim is to improve the flood control level of the Suijiang section in Guangning County,reduce flood risks,protect the ecological environment,and promote sustainable socio-economic development.
