Key Technology for Construction of Pile Plate Retaining Wall for Urban River Embankment
The wall retaining walls used in practical engineering include various forms such as gravity retaining walls,cantilever retaining walls,buttressed retaining walls,and pile plate retaining walls.Pile plate retaining walls are commonly used as anti slip measures for slopes in mountainous construction environments,but their application in urban river improvement projects is relatively limited.Based on the Longgang River Bidao Project,the key technology for demolishing and rebuilding retaining walls on river bank slopes is studied.This paper analyzes the types and advantages and disadvantages of pile plate retaining walls based on technical and economic comparisons.In addition,it elaborates on the protective effect of SKK paint on fair faced concrete for retaining wall finishing.The final conclusion is that hanging sheet pile plate retaining walls in front of piles are more suitable for the area,requiring less construction space,easy safety protection,easy operation,and high ornamental value.
