Methods for Prevention and Control of Rodent Infestations in Electromechanical System Facility of Expressway
The electromechanical system facilities of expressway are distributed linearly,and the points are scattered and mostly unattended,which makes it face the risk of failure and major property loss caused by rodents,especially the key equipment such as computers,communication and power supply and distribution facilities.This paper summarizes the practical experience of rodent control in the operation and management activities of Jinhong and Jiangtong expressways,and puts forward a series of targeted and feasible control measures and methods.Through the implementation of these measures and methods,it can effectively reduce the system facilities failure and property loss caused by rodents.
