Research onthe Unique Challenges Faced bya Major Party:Progress Review and Prospect Outlook
In the context of discourse innovation surrounding China's party system,a comprehensive understanding and grasp of the concept of a"major party"necessitates acknowledging not only its magnitude and advantages but also the special challenges and peculiarities inherent from its size.Presently, scholarly discourse in China concerning the unique challenges faced by the major party primarily revolves around four themes:defining what constitutes a major party, identifying the specific challenges encountered, exploring solutions, and elucidating the significance of such remedies. The crux of studying these kinds of challenges lies in elucidating the uniqueness,i.e.,the particularity, with the emphasisplaced on devising solutions rather than merely identifying problems.Limitations include a relative lack of diversity in research perspectives, approaches, and methodologies, with a need for enhanced theoretical exposition and holistic studies. To deepen this research,a systemic perspective,a problem-oriented approachand strengthened dialectical thinking are imperative, with a steadfast focus on intra-party self-revolution as the fundamental solution, ultimately aimed at enhancing the Communist Party of China's capability in steering Chinese modernization.Future endeavors should prioritize studying strategies for tackling these challenges, deepening our understanding of the regular patterns of intra-party self-revolution and adopting a comprehensive analytical framework encompassing problem identification,problem-breaking,resolution,response formulation, and evaluation. This approach will enrich and expand academic discourse on this significant topic.
