The Relay Growth and Dialectical Unity of Nation-state and People-state in China's National Paradigm
At present,although the interpretation of China's national paradigm is diversified,a lot is based on a unitary perspective.From a compound perspective,it can be found that the Chinese national paradigm has achieved the dialectical unity of the nation-state and the people-state.The nation-state and the people-state show the historical logic of relay growth in China's national paradigm.Starting from the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895,through to the victory of the revolution of 1911and to the triumph of the New Democratic Revolution,the nation-state gradually outlined the shape of China's national paradigm.Since the founding of the People's Republic of China,through the period of socialist revolution and construction,the new period of reform and opening up and socialist modernizationand then to the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,the people's state has continually embedded itself as the spirit of the Chinese national paradigm.In this paradigm,the nation-state reflects the value orientation and power structure of the people's state,and the people's state shapes the sovereign status and national identity of the nation-state.Therefore,the Chinese state paradigm is neither an ethnic or a hegemonic state,nor an individual state or a nation-state.It not only inherits the fine tradition and keeps innovation within the historical development of civilization,but also ensures the people's interests and promotes mutual learning of civilization in terms of domestic and foreign affairs.
