Further Understanding of Rural Governance Order from the Perspective of"Face"——Discussion Based on Tiancun
"Face"is a value consensus and code of conduct developed in an acquaintance society,and an important component of rural governance order and governance capacity.Based on the perspective of"Face",this paper attempts to construct an analytical framework for modern rural social governance,and empirically examines rural governance capabilities using Tiancun as a case study.It is found that the decline of grassroots organizations,the existence of comparison culture,the lack of traditional etiquette,and the materialization of"Face"tendencies in rural society lead to the inefficiency of rural governance capabilities.Based on this,it is necessary to leverage the micro-governance function of"Face",improve the governance capabilities of village cadres and"rural sages",innovate rural governance mechanisms,reconstruct rural governance order,and achieve harmonious and sustainable development of rural areas.
