The paper discussed better application of big data technology in geological prospecting,a lot of geological,physical geography,space and environment data were analyzed through a big data platform,then the target prospecting area can be confirmed more scientifically,deposit data can be analyzed comprehensively,so the success rate of mineral exploration can be increased,new ideas and new approaches for the mining industry are provided.
