The cyclone oxygen lance with multi-angle coupling has complex,unclear jet flow behavior,so it studied the jet flow features of a five-hole cyclone oxygen lance for a 120 t converter by numerical modeling,results show that rotational flow angle has more influence than inclination angle on the length of the supersonic jet zone;the larger the inclination angle,the faster the oxygen stream jet velocity attenuation;the increasing of rotational flow angle and inclination angle can increase the turbulent kinetic energy rate of jet flow,the effective impact area can be increased along with the increasing inclination angle,and the area can reach to the peak value when the inclination angle is 14°,the inclination angle is 10°.According to the research results,it established a normalized mathematical model with the effective impact area of cyclone oxygen lance for 120 t converter,inclination angle and rotational flow angle.
