Research on CO2 Corrosion Protection Technology of Oil and Gas Reservoir Type Gas Storage
The vast majority of underground gas storage at home and abroad is rebuilt from depleted oil and gas reservoirs.The produced natural gas usually contains liquid hydrocarbon,water,and CO2 during the gas production period.CO2 is corrosive in humid environment,which will cause a certain degree of internal corrosion to gas gathering and transportation pipelines and equipment.In order to do a good job in CO2 corrosion protection of oil and gas reservoir type gas storage,to minimize the adverse effect of CO2 corrosion on gas production system,and to extend the service life of gas storage,through the research and analysis of CO2 corrosion law and various corrosion factors in gas storage gas production system,different corrosion protection technologies and means are compared and analyzed.It is clear that the oil and gas reservoir type gas storage is more suitable for CO2 corrosion protection by adding corro-sion inhibitor.Taking the first gas production period of Lei 61 Gas Storage in Liaohe Oilfield as an ex-ample,the molar volume fraction of CO2 is monitored regularly,the partial pressure of CO2 is calcu-lated,and the amount of corrosion inhibitor added is adjusted in time according to the specifications.At the end of the gas production period,the data of corrosion hangers and electronic monitoring probes are analyzed and evaluated.It shows that the dynamic injection of corrosion inhibitors achieves good protective effects.This study can provide reference for similar processes.
