Research on IPMT Mode of Oil and Gas Engineering Construction Projects
As the investment entities and methods of engineering projects become more diverse,we have witnessed a significant expansion in project scale and an increasing complexity in management pro-cesses.In order to address these challenges,the IPMT model has emerged,with the core of creating a comprehensive project management team aimed at improving the efficiency and accuracy of project management through professional management.This model particularly emphasizes that when managing large-scale and technically complex projects,it can reduce the investment of human resources by own-ers,thereby achieving more efficient and refined project management.Based on the practice of oil and gas engineering project management,this paper reviews the current application status of IPMT mode in domestic and foreign oil and gas engineering construction projects,studies practical cases of IPMT mode,analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of applying IPMT mode,proposes the application prospects of IPMT mode,and provides implementation suggestions from the aspects of work content,management system,etc.It is believed that the work interface and content should be clarified,a com-prehensive assessment system should be formulated,and the business ability of consulting service unit personnel should be improved.Practical and feasible strategies are proposed as well.The IPMT model has strong applicability in large-scale engineering construction projects with large investment scale and complex technology,such as oil and gas long-distance pipelines,LNG receiving stations,and refining and chemical engineering.It should be vigorously promoted as the leading model.
