Optimization of Protection Mode for Optical Transmission Systems in Oil and Gas Pipelines
At the initial stage of the construction of the oil and gas transmission pipeline optical transmis-sion network,the optical cable is laid in the same trench as the oil and gas transmission pipelines,and the optical transmission equipment is reasonably arranged according to the condition of the station and valve station.Due to the small amount of pipeline transmission traffic in the early stage of construction,SDH(Synchronous Digital Hierarchy)optical transmission equipment is adopted as the main transmission mode.With the large-scale construction of domestic oil and gas transmission pipelines,SDH network has formed a ring network from a chain,and finally uses SNCP(sub-network connection protection)ring to protect business.In recent years,the oil and gas transmission pipeline communication network has begun to take shape.OTN(Optical Transport Network)equipment has been set up at key stations,forming a transmission network with two dimensions of communication main structure and sub-structure.The transmission network bandwidth of the OTN main structure is large,but the access service is limited.While SDH sub-structure transmission network can access rich pipeline services,the transmission is lim-ited.The main structure and sub-structure stations shall be arranged reasonably,so as to meet the trans-mission requirements of both large particle businesses and single station small particle businesses.With the large demand for video and office services,SDH capacity is limited,and with the increasing traffic on the SNCP ring,the existing transmission bandwidth of the sub-structure can no longer meet the long-term transmission demand.The oil and gas transmission pipeline optical transmission network can form a ring network through OTN equipment and SDH equipment,and use OTN channels to protect SDH trans-mission services,so as to optimize the protection mode of the optical transmission system.Therefore,OTN channel resources and SDH can be used to form a ring for protection,so as to optimize the protec-tion mode of oil and gas transmission pipeline optical transmission system.
