Construction and Application of Fuel Gas Temporary Control System during DCS Up-grade of a Certain Oil and Gas Platform
During the upgrading of the production control system of an offshore oil and gas process platform,all production processes are shut down,and the fuel gas supply system of the turbine genera-tor fails,making the platform unable to generate electricity independently.The parameters such as gas source,pressure,and temperature in the process flow of the fuel gas supply system of this platform are fully analyzed,and the underlying control program and logic of the original DCS(Distributed Control System)are interpreted.Using the abandoned Siemens S7-200 controller and its components on the un-derwater wellhead platform,a PLC control program is independently written to replace the original DCS program.In addition,pressure monitoring device is installed,temporary communication cable is laid,monitoring host computer and input/output devices are assembled,and finally,the temporary fuel gas supply control system is successfully built.The normal supply of fuel gas during the upgrading of the production control system is realized,and the electricity consumption of air compressors,fresh wa-ter machine,offices,lighting and other aspects of the offshore platform are ensured.By designing a PID selective control program,the switching process between the old system,temporary system,and new system is refined,achieving the no-stop and no-disturb switching of the turbine generator be-tween the old and new fuel gas systems.At the same time,the temporary fuel gas system is designed with various switching operation modes to ensure the stable supply of fuel gas.The application of the fu-el gas temporary system not only solves the problems of platform production and daily power supply,but also avoids renting large power generation equipment,thus reducing the cost of upgrading the pro-duction control system.
