Research on Equivalent Viscosity Test of Heavy Oil-Water Mixture with High Water Fraction
Crude oil viscosity is an important physical parameter for the planning and designing the oil-field surface engineering transmission system. There are problems with low speeds that cannot be evenly dispersed, high speeds deviation from actual working conditions, when the traditional stirring method is adopted to determine the viscosity of heavy oil-water mixture with high water fraction. The program performed by high-speed stirring dispersing and low-speed shear testing is designed for stirring viscome-try methods for heavy oil-water mixtures with high water fraction. This method overcomes the disad-vantages of the large oil consumption and the complex experimental operation of the ring method, and has the advantages of continuous measurement and convenient operation of rotating viscosity meters. The high and low speed alternating stirring is used to determine the heavy oil-water mixture with high water fraction flow characteristics curve.Compared with the ring method, the average relative deviation of Oil Sample 1 is 6.16%,the average absolute deviation is 3.23 mPa·s,the average relative deviation of Oil Sample 2 is 2.61%,and the average absolute deviation is 3.69 mPa·s.The test results error is within the allowable range, and the flow characteristics curve obtained at the same time presents a good regularity. The shear diluency of the mixture gradually increases with the decrease of its water-cut and temperature.
