Development and Utilization of Geothermal Resources of Long-shut-in and Low-effi-ciency Wells in Oilfields
Under the background of the national dual-carbon target, oilfields have actively developed low-carbon production paths through clean energy substitution, and fully utilizing the geothermal re-sources of long-shut-in wells, which are unique to oilfields, and has become an important research direction and practical field.Taking the operation area of a certain oilfield in Hailar as the research ob-ject,this paper uses the coaxial heat exchanger transformation technology and heat pump technology to realize the development and utilization of geothermal energy of the surrounding long-shut-in wells in the operation area.Combining process design and mathematical model establishment, the geothermal resources in the surrounding area of the operation area are systematically evaluated, with the regional rock heat resource reserves of 18.6×108 GJ and recoverable geothermal resource volume of 4.6×108 GJ,equivalent to about 6 320×104 t of standard coal.Based on the evaluation results,a corresponding op-eration area heating replacement scheme is formulated, converting 20 long-shut-in wells within 1.5 km of the living area boiler room into geothermal wells to replace the original fuel oil boiler heat-ing,saving 1 424 tons of crude oil per year,1 588.3 tons of standard coal per year, reducing CO2 emissions by 4 399.5 tons per year, and saving annual operating costs of 3.015 million yuan.In summa-ry,by fully studying the comprehensive properties of long-shut-in wells in oilfields, and combining advanced geothermal energy development technologies,it is possible to effectively improve energy uti-lization efficiency and reduce environmental pollution. This study has important reference value for the future development and utilization of geothermal resources.
