Application of Prestressed Pipe Pile Composite Foundation Technology in Large Oil Tank Foundation
The design for the foundation of large oil tanks requires strict control of the overall settle-ment,overall tilt,and local uneven settlement of the tank wall.At the same time,the overall concave settlement and local settlement of the bottom plate of the tank are not allowed.Under normal circum-stances,the natural subsoil cannot meet the requirements of the bearing capacity and deformation of the large oil tank foundation.Foundation treatment measures must be taken to improve the mechanical properties of the natural subsoil,so as to increase the bearing capacity of the foundation and reduce the total settlement and uneven settlement of the tank foundation.When determining the foundation treat-ment plan,the safety and reliability,technological advancement and construction feasibility of the plan must be considered.At the same time,efforts should be made to save costs and minimize the impact on the environment.Prestressed pipe pile composite foundation treatment technology has been widely used in large oil tank foundation design.Prestressed reinforced concrete pipe composite foundation is superior to other pile composite foundation treatment methods in terms of safety and reliability,technological advancement,construction feasibility and environmental protection.With the reduction of the produc-tion cost of prestressed reinforced concrete prefabricated piles and the low construction cost,the engi-neering cost of reinforced concrete pile composite foundation project is close to that of other rigid pile composite foundations.It has significant technical and economic advantages in the application of the foundation treatment for large oil tanks.
