Research on Energy Saving and Consumption Reduction of Decentralized Water Injec-tion Process in Peripheral S Oilfield
The degree of energy saving and consumption reduction of water injection systems is an important factor affecting the economic benefits of oilfield development.Unlike large oilfields which mostly adopt centralized water injection process, peripheral oilfields are often characterized by scattered distribution of wells, low output of single wells, high water injection pressure, etc.,and often adopt decentralized water injection process.Due to certain differences in the water injection process, the energy saving potential and the degree of consumption reduction of the two kinds of water injection processes are not the same if the same energy saving and consumption reduction measures are taken. This paper analyzes the reasons for low efficiency and high energy consumption of decentralized water injection in peripheral S Oilfield, and proposes measures such as rectification of machine and pump facilities, renovation of water injection under partial pressure, and optimization of water injection pump combination scheme,to explore the corresponding potential of energy saving and consumption reduction. After rectification and optimization of the decentralized water injection process in the oilfield,it is expected to save 181.4×104 kWh of electricity annually, with significant energy-saving effects. This study not only explores the potential for reducing energy consumption in the target oilfield, but also provides technical guidance for other peripheral oilfields to determine energy saving and consumption reduction measures.
