Study on the Advanced Treatment of Oilfield Produced Water by Electro-flocculation and Three-dimensional Electrode
Due to electrochemical process with short reaction time and no addition of chemical agents, the advanced treatment of produced water in oilfield was treated by the combination of electro-flocculation and three-dimensional electrode with laboratory experimental equipment. The influences of electrode material, current density, initial pH value and plate distance on the electro-flocculation process were investigated, and influences of activated carbon adsorption rate, current and initial pH value on the three-dimensional electrode process were investigated by the control variable method, and the combined treatment effect of the two processes was monitored. The results showed that iron plate as anode, current density of 50 mA/cm,initial pH value of 8,plate distance of 40 mm and electrolytic time of 40 min,the treatment effect of electro-flocculation was the best. The activated carbon filling rate of 90%,initial pH value of 8 and reaction time of 40 min,the treatment effect of three-dimensional electrode technology was the best. The results of 5 repeated experiments showed thatall the indexes could meet the water quality requirements of SY/T 5329-2022 after combined treatment of the two processes.
