Study on Comprehensive Emergency of Benzene Storage Tank Leaks Based on Cross-Simulation
Accidents caused by benzene leaks result in a serious threat to on-site staff, equipment, and the environment.Efficient emergency response can significantly reduce the accident losses.Currently, the safety and environmental emergency response in petrochemical enterprises operate independently. And there are some problems such as a lack of well connection between safety and environmental emergency response efforts and poor emergency effect. In this article, through the analysis of the key aspects of safety and environmental emergency response,a propose on the establishment of the comprehensive safety and environmental emergency response system was put forward.Based on the cross-simulation analysis of the environmental risk assessment software BIA and the safety consequence analysis software PHAST,the impact extent and scope of the toxicity dispersion, fires, and explosions caused by benzene tank leakage were comprehensively assessed.Based on these results,a comprehensive emergency rescue procedure for safety and environmental was designed to improve the efficiency of emergency response efforts.
