Assessment of Uncertainty for Determination of Total Cyanide Content in Soil by Isonicotinic Acid-pyrazolinone Spectrophotometry
The isonicotinic acid-pyrazolone spectrophotometric method is widely used in the determination of total cyanide in soil. This study was based on this method to conduct data analysis and perform uncertainty evaluation. The entire process of total cyanide determination in soil was analyzed, and a mathematical model for uncertainty was established using methods for evaluating and expressing measurement uncertainty. An effective and accurate mathematical expression was developed, identifying the sources of each uncertainty component and determining the expanded uncertainty results, thus reflecting accuracy and reliability.
