Research Progress of Treatment Technology for Coalbed Methane Produced Water
As domestic oil demand continues to increase, several domestic oil fields have entered the mid-to-late stages of extraction. To enhance oil recovery, the use of the ternary composite drive method is inevitable, which consequently generates a substantial volume of ternary composite drive wastewater. This wastewater is characterized by complex water quality, high viscosity, and severe emulsification, making its treatment challenging. This study systematically analyzes the water quality characteristics of the ternary composite drive wastewater, the water quality of ternary composite flooding wastewater is complex, with high viscosity and severe emulsification, making it difficult to treat. This article systematically analyzes the water quality characteristics of ternary composite flooding waste liquid, and conducts technical research on gel breaking, viscosity reduction, removal of oil content and suspended solids.A ternary composite flooding waste liquid treatment process with"gel breaking coagulation+centrifugal separation+air flotation+filtration"as the main body has been proposed.Through on-site experiments,it has been proven that the rapid gel breaking of waste liquid can be achieved and the oil containing pollutants and suspended solids in the effluent can be effectively reduced. The results indicate that the demulsification time can be reduced to 60 seconds, with removal efficiencies for oil-based pollutants and suspended solids reaching 95.22%and 97.68%,respectively.The treated water meets the Level Ⅱ water quality standards specified in SY/T 5329-2022"Technical Requirements and Analytical Methods for Water Quality Indices for Injection in Clastic Rock Oil Reservoirs".
