SCADA System Design and Network Security Evaluation and Enhancement for Long-distance Natural Gas Pipeline
This article focuses on the assessment and enhancement of network security for the SCADA system in the offtake station of long-distance natural gas pipelines.Firstly,the concept and importance of the SCADA system,as well as the crucial role of network security,are introduced.Subsequently,a network security assessment is conducted,including vulnerability assessment and the analysis of the effectiveness of access control policies.Based on the assessment results,measures are proposed to strengthen network security,such as enhancing authentication and access control mechanisms,encrypting and protecting data integrity,and implementing monitoring and incident response mechanisms.In addition,the importance of security training and awareness enhancement,as well as the necessity of compliance and regulatory requirements,are emphasized.Finally,key measures are summarized,and suggestions for further improving network security are proposed.
