Research on Antenna Failure Issues and Daily Maintenance Strategies for L-band Sounding Radar
The L-band sounding radar is an indispensable and critical equipment in China's upper-air meteorological observation operations. Its detection range covers the area from the ground to a height of 30km,allowing for accurate acquisition of meteorological data such as temperature, pressure, relative humidity, wind direction, and wind speed. These data play a vital role in weather forecasting, especially in the early warning and prevention of disastrous weather conditions. However,in practical applications, the L-band sounding radar may encounter issues such as antenna faults.Antenna faults can affect the normal operation of the radar, leading to decreased accuracy of meteorological data.Given this, this article will focus on analyzing the antenna faults of the L-band sounding radar and proposing targeted safeguarding strategies, based on introducing the basic composition and principles of the L-band radar. Finally, the daily maintenance of the L-band sounding radar will be discussed, aiming to provide reference and insight for peers in the industry.
