Design of High Recision Ouble Edundancy Inear Ifferential Ransformer Isplacement Ensor
The linear variable differential transformer(LVDT)is a sensor used to measure changes in displacement.The device under test drives the iron core to produce position changes,altering the coupling between the primary and secondary coils.This converts the measured displacement into changes in mutual inductance within the sensor,and a collection component transforms the displacement signal into an electrical signal output.Widely applied in industrial control due to its stable and reliable operation,good linearity,simple structure,high sensitivity,ability to withstand long periods of operation,and adaptability to complex environmental testing,the LVDT offers numerous advantages.In this paper,we first establish a three-dimensional model of the sensor and import it into the electromagnetic simulation software provided by Ansoft.We then establish boundary conditions,apply sinusoidal excitation,mesh the model,and analyze the output values of secondary coils Va and Vb,as well as the distribution of magnetic fields and flux lines within the sensor.By comparing the results of actual product testing with the simulation results,we confirm that the design meets the specified requirements.
