The Domestic Central Control System Realizes"One-key Frequency Reduction"and Function Optimization of Oil Wells
In the daily production process of offshore oil production facilities, unexpected and sudden closures of shutdown valves, control valves, and other equipment can cause significant fluctuations in the production process, leading to unit shutdowns or complete production stoppages. To effectively reduce the number of shutdowns of individual production sequences or complete production stoppages caused by process fluctuations and minimize the number of unexpected shutdowns of oil well electrical submersible pumps(ESPs),this article presents an optimization of the manual"one-button frequency reduction"and automatic graded shutdown functions for oil wells based on the domestic HollySys central control system.Without compromising safety functions, the feature allows for manually reducing the ESP operating frequency to a baseline frequency with a single button press, giving the central control operator time to take the most effective emergency actions to avoid shutdowns.Additionally, when a signal for the shutdown of a single production sequence is triggered, the system automatically shuts down wells with high water content, minimizing the loss of crude oil production. The innovative development of the manual"one-button frequency reduction"function and the optimization of the automatic graded shutdown function offer significant economic benefits and strong scalability, making them suitable for promotion to other offshore facilities, especially those that have implemented or are in the process of implementing the domestication of their central control systems.
