Research on the Determination of Trace Gold,Platinum and Palladium in Ores by Flameless Atomic Absorption Spectrometry Using Dynamic Adsorption with Ion Exchange Resin and Activated Carbon
Using a combined enrichment and separation technique with 717 anion exchange resin and activated carbon, trace amounts of Au,Pt,and Pd in ore samples were determined by flameless atomic absorption spectrometry with hydrochloric acid(HCl)as the medium. The recovery rate of gold(Au)reached 100%,platinum(Pt)was 95%,and palladium(Pd)was 96%.Analysis of national standard materials showed that the measured results were consistent with the standard values.Seven repeated determinations of GBW07291 national standard material resulted in a relative standard deviation(RSD)of 8.3%for Au,9.3%for Pt,and 3.0%for Pd.This method is suitable for trace analysis of Au,Pt,and Pd in ore samples with concentrations ranging from 10-6 to 10-9 levels, demonstrating good accuracy and precision.
