As a protective device for ensuring the safe operation of equipment, travel switches are widely used in the field of automated production, serving as limit switches or for controlling the opening and closing of transportation doors.By employing digital control methods, mechanical motion is converted into electrical signals to achieve various functional roles of the travel switch. In this study, five typical travel switches were selected, and a fault analysis approach was adopted to identify the failure indicators and main influencing factors of the equipment, namely the response time and contact resistance of the travel switch.Relevant maintenance strategies are also provided for reference.
