Research on Control Strategies of Power System with Battery Energy Storage
This study explores the application of battery energy storage technology in enhancing the frequency regulation performance and economic benefits of power systems.Addressing the overlooked need for coordinated operation among distributed energy storage systems,a method based on improved control strategies and algorithm optimization is proposed to strengthen the coordination and efficiency of distributed energy storage systems participating in grid frequency regulation.By establishing an accurate load frequency control model and implementing a two-level distributed control strategy,not only does it improve the frequency response efficiency and speed of the power system,but it also enhances the economics and sustainability of energy storage participation in frequency regulation by optimizing energy storage operation costs and battery life degradation.This study provides an efficient and cost-effective solution for power system frequency regulation.
