Research on Automatic Calibration Method for Intelligent Pointer-type Instruments in Power System Automation
This article investigates the automatic verification method for intelligent analog meters in power system automation.Firstly, the filtering and segmentation methods for analog meter images are introduced. The RGB color model is converted to the HSI color model, and image segmentation is performed using hue and saturation information to eliminate the impact of brightness components on image segmentation, thus accurately extracting the pointer and graduation lines. The projection extreme detection method is proposed to determine the lengths of the meter pointer and graduation lines, and the position and shape of the pointer are determined through pixel subtraction operations and Hough transforms.Vector processing is applied to handle the pointer direction of the meter dial, and the pointer deflection angle is calculated to achieve automatic verification of intelligent analog meters.Experimental results show that the proposed method can meet the verification requirements with high real-time performance and accuracy.
