Research on the Application of Real-time Monitoring Technology in Cable Terminal Connections of Offshore Wind Power High-voltage Ring Main Units
This study focuses on utilizing real-time monitoring technology to assess the stability of offshore wind power high-voltage ring main unit 35 kV cable terminal joints by monitoring the current fluctuation in the shielded wires. This approach relies on precise current sensors to capture real-time changes in the cable terminal joint shielded wire currents to predict and diagnose potential faults.By analyzing the current fluctuation data, abnormal states of the cable joints, such as grounding faults or insulation damage, can be detected in a timely manner, enabling early warning of faults. The results show that this monitoring technology can effectively reduce maintenance costs, enhance equipment reliability, and have a significant impact on improving the operational efficiency and safety of offshore wind farms. This study provides a new technical approach for fault prediction and health management of offshore wind power equipment.
