Preparation and properties of fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether AEO3 and dimercaptodimethylammonium chloride mixed systems
Complex systems of surfactant molecules often exhibited better physicochemical properties than single surfactant systems, and was therefore widely used.Didecyldimethylammonium chloride(DEQ)and fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether(AEO3)were mixed according to different mass ratios, respectively, the changes of critical micelle concentration(cmc),alkali resistance, wettability, emulsifying property and foaming property were investigated in detail. The results showed that when the complex system DEQ∶AEO3 was 1∶3,the lowest value of cmc was 1.46×10-5 mol/L,the lowest value of surface tension rcmc was 29.65 mN/m,and the surface adsorption Γmax was 3.01×10-10 mol/m2.At the ratio of 2∶1,the foaming property was excellent, the foam was abundant, and the foam stability reached the optimum value of 88%.Compared with non-ionic surfactant AEO3,the wettability of 6.35 s was obviously higher than that of non-ionic surfactant AEO3.
