柚子皮活性炭的制备及其对亚甲基蓝的吸附性能

将柚子皮粉末炭化,用乙醇对柚子皮炭进行浸渍处理,制备柚皮炭吸附剂,用于废水中染料亚甲基蓝(MB)的吸附研究.研究pH、吸附时间和吸附剂用量对MB去除率的影响.结果表明:当吸附剂用量为1 g/L、pH为7、吸附时间为50 min时,柚皮炭对MB的去除率为97.32%,最大吸附量为88.4 mg/g,与优质商用椰壳炭性能接近.用扫描电镜(SEM)表征吸附剂的外观,炭化后的柚子皮表面更粗糙,褶皱和微孔增多,比表面积增大,有利于MB的吸附.
Preparation of pomelo peel activated carbon and its adsorption performance for methylene blue
The pomelo peel powder was carbonized,and the pomelo peel carbon was treated with etha-nol to prepare a modified pomelo peel carbon adsorbent for the adsorption of methylene blue(MB)in waste-water.The effects of pH,adsorption time,and dosage on the removal rate of MB was studied.The results showed that when the adsorbent dosage was 1 g/L,pH was 7,and adsorption time was 50 min,the removal rate of MB by pomelo peel charcoal was 97.32%,and the maximum adsorption capacity was 88.4 mg/g,which was similar to the performance of high-quality commercial coconut shell charcoal.Scanning electron mi-croscopy(SEM)was used to characterize the appearance of the adsorbent.After carbonization,the surface of the pomelo peel became rougher,with more wrinkles and micropores,and an increase in specific surface ar-ea,which was beneficial for the adsorption of MB.
