Application of one-bath one-step dyeing with disperse/reactive dyes for polyester cotton blended fabrics
The polyester cotton blended fabrics could be dyed by conventional process to obtain good col-or fastness of the fabric, but the dyeing time was long and the sewage treatment cost was high, which did not meet the requirements of low carbon environmental protection. One bath one step dyeing process with disperse/reactive dyes was adopted instead of conventional process. At room temperature(40℃),with 150 g/L powder,1 g/L dye promoter,2℃/min heating to 80℃and holding for 1 min,1℃/min heating to 95℃and holding for 1 min, disperse dyes and reactive dyes were dyed with 1℃/min heating to 127℃and kept warm for 30 min.The results of the experiments showed that the color fastness of dyed fabric to dry friction could reach 4-5 level, the color fastness to wet friction could reach 3-4 level, the color fastness to soap could reach 4-5 level, and the color fastness to perspiration could reach 4-5 level. At the same time,it could shorten the dyeing time, save electricity and reduce sewage discharge, which played a positive role in reduc-ing the production cost and met the needs of actual production.
