Aniline substances in printing and dyeing wastewater pose great harm to the water environ-ment and are difficult to treat.When traditional processes such as biological and physicochemical methods are used to treat printing and dyeing wastewater containing aniline substances,there are often problems such as unstable treatment effects and easy secondary pollution.Ozone catalytic oxidation,as a advanced wastewater treatment technology,has the advantages of high efficiency,speed,and no secondary pollution,and is widely used in various wastewater treatment fields.The sources and hazards of aniline in printing and dyeing waste-water,common treatment processes for aniline based wastewater,and the principle of ozone catalytic oxida-tion were introduced.Through examples of wastewater treatment plant process improvement and transforma-tion,the removal effect of ozone catalytic oxidation process on aniline based wastewater in printing and dye-ing was verified.Engineering practice showed that the removal rate of aniline by ozone catalytic oxidation tech-nology could reach 91%,while improving the biodegradability of wastewater.It had a significant synergistic ef-fect on COD removal and could effectively ensure the stable and standard discharge of aniline in effluent.It can provide reference for the engineering application of ozone catalytic oxidation process to remove aniline substances in printing and dyeing wastewater.
